There’s been a whole thing on Reddit of people saying that ChatGPT has gotten worse by measurable metrics (indicated by how it answered prompts well months ago, but now butchers the same answers - it’s been nerfed by its makers, rather than sabotage or taking on too much garbage data, as lots of people are suggesting.) throughout the past few weeks there have been a small dedicated coterie of redditors insisting that ChatGPT is the same, and that, essentially, everyone else has gotten stupider, or somehow worse at Prompt Engineering. Some are still insisting this. There is a moral here, some kind of philosophical pun. The shadows on the cave wall have been paywalled. Idk
